A build of a 40TB RAID5 media server. The OS is WHS 2011. Storage is based on the Digital Sans TR8M-B esata towers stocked with Western Digital AV-GP WD20EURS drives and the controllers are dual SANS DIGITAL HA-DAT-4ESPCIE cards.
Media Management is achieved with MyMovies for WHS2011. Zone players can be windows 7 media PCs or your choice of network media players, my favorite being the Dune. This is a test run of the storage platform, all other componets mentioned here are held in high regard by me.
